Senior Associate SDE – Platform Engineering (Jul 2023 – Present)

Currently leading platform engineering initiatives to design and expand in-house cloud infrastructure. Focused on building modern server halls with advanced networking protocols such as BGP, FRR, ECMP, and BFD, alongside Kubernetes orchestration. Working on making pod and service networks discoverable, advertisable, and routable across datacenter environments.

Associate SDE – Platform Engineering (Nov 2021 – Jul 2023)

• Deployed multiple Canonical Charmed OpenStack clusters with SAN/Ceph storage and multi-availability zones.
• Migrated 100% of non-production workloads and initiated production migration, reducing VMware licensing costs by 60%.
• Built centralized observability for UPI/IMPS workloads, spanning software, firewalls, switches, and load balancers.
• Implemented centralized key management with HashiCorp Vault (active-active HA across sites).
• Configured CI/CD pipelines for Bharat Switch and Bharat BillPay applications using GitLab CI and Jenkins.
• Executed two large-scale datacenter migrations from colocation to in-house infrastructure within a year.
